haha sex on www.oed.com
haha okay so i was searching for literary terms on www.oed.com (oed stands for oxford english dictionary), and one of the words is rhyme. so i typed it in and then it said that for one of the choices it was "rhyme found in third" so i was curious because, why would the word "rhyme" be in the definition for the word "third"? so i clicked on it and all it said was that there was a term called "third rhyme" but it didnt tell you what it was. but it had a whole list of "third X" phrases, and one of them said third sex! and of course i was curious... please, tell me, what is the 3rd sex? lol. so i clicked on it and there are all these oed style definitions for sex... it turns out that in the olden days homosexuals were sometimes looked at as an entirely differnet sex... hence... the third sex.... haha but there were all these other funny definitions like "sex kitten colloq., a young woman who exploits her sex appeal; hence sex-kittenish adj." haha omg amanda i found the job for you! "sex therapy, therapy that deals with a person's psychological impediments to sexual intercourse or with other sexual problems; so sex therapist" lol. yeah. its funny to look up dirty words on scholarly english dictionaries... lol okay... back to english...
