Work schedule change?
Have any of you requested a reduction in hours at your job before or a drastic work schedule change? A lot of people I work with work altered schedules or telecommute one day a week. But I am considering requesting from my boss to drop to 32 hours a week so I can start working with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) I used to work with them when I was a non profit children's program director but that was a lifetime ago. Ha! I think thai would be a great opportunity for me to look into and get involved in the foster care system.
I'm a deeply private person and don't think it's my employers business why I want to get into foster care etc but how do I got about this properly? Any advice?
