Still sick, etc.
This summer, I'm going to Cape Cod for two weeks with a few friends. I'm very excited about this, because it promises to be Great Fun. However, I've got to pay for half of everything, which comes out to be about $250. Not too steep, and it's doable, but it still reinforces the fact that I need a job.
Which begs the question, where should I work?
Barnes and Noble would be my first choice, followed by Borders. However, I think they start hiring at 18, which would pose a problem. Although I did ask at B&N once, and they said that they didn't, would I like an application? That was a few months ago, though.
Smoothie King also sounds pretty good, because 1.) I love smoothies and 2.) I want to know their recipies. But do I really want to work with food?
And that's all I can come up with. I could go back to teaching swim lessons, but I'd really rather not.
Oh well. Time will tell.
PS- I keep wishing that someone, anyone would call me and alleviate my boredom, but then I realize that I can't talk, so what's the use? I would only make vague noises into the phone before they would hang up, thinking that they'd called the wrong number.
