It's been awhile.
Part of me says that it's a good thing that I'm not online as much anymore. I get more done offline, I'm not as tired anymore, and in a way, the computer/internet has represented a lot of my childhood, most of which has been spent in immaturity. Change is good, right?

In case anyone at all is interested, I've been pretty busy lately. I finally got a job and started working earlier this week- what a relief! I'm hostessing at Red Robin, a gormet-burger restaurant. On the upside, I enjoy the work. It's very active, social, and fun. On the down side, I'm working with my sister, who is a waitress at the same place. ( Read more... ) -

I really, really want to run bleachers right now. I haven't run bleachers for two years, but the urge is overwhelming. Hell, I would go right now if it wasn't extraordinarily hot outside. So, it's been awhile. I haven't been up to much- it's been rainy and gross with the exception of today, which was sunny and hot. Looking out the window, it looks like it's about to get rainy and nasty again. However, I couldn't take advantage of the nice weather to tan- I went out shopping with a bunch of friends instead. I pretty much knew what was going to happen. As soon as he called yesterday morning and asked if he could meet me at later that night, I had a creeping premonition that this was it- I was either going to be apologized to or broken up with. Turns out that I got both.

You know, I generally tend to think of myself as a well-dispositioned, cheery person. I can usually find something to be happy about.
