There is a smallish grave yard a mile, or so, past my house, I drive pass it at least 2 times a day during commute. I noticed something today, well I'd seen it before, but it never full registered. On the far side of the grave yard, which is not near the entrance, but is near the road that a majority of traffic passes, are 2 giant garbage cans filled to the brim with memorial flower arrangements. Maybe it is just me but if I had plunked out $50-100+ for a floral arrangement I'd like them to not be trashed in such open disregard. Yes I know they shrivel and look nasty after awhile, I get that, but proper disposal etiquette should be used for the desceased's flowers.
Now in other news I've become a proud adopted parent of a dwarf hamster, I call her Bubbleguinea. She's about 2.5 inches long and is white with a light gray stripe on her head, she's got the ittybitty body of a hamster and the head of a mouse with bigger ears, she looks more like a mini chinchilla. She's sooo cute. I got her a deluxe 2 story rodent condo with a little tube going up to the observation deck and integrated plastic wheel(it's so nice and not squeaky). She has only chewed on me 1 time, more of a "what does that taste like" rather than "I hate you, stay away". I still have to chase around her cage to pick her up, but i'm hoping she'll get used to contact with people, maybe yogurt treats and hamster "training" will help that.
