So since i quit my job, i've gotten a really fantastic new one. I work for kitty moon cabaret. I bring people in, i make nights happen, i get 20% of the till and drinks. I split that 20% with kara, but it pays rent. and what i do is i make fliers, i put up fliers, i drink at the bar and hang out with everybody there, i leave at 2:30 after barbacking a little bit, and I come home with a wad of cash in my pocket.
And i am so good at booking. Together, lucky, kara and i made mondays big and getting bigger. Me and kara are bringing tuesday art attack into fruition, first night is tomorrow night. Wednesdays, I'm advertising for a blues band. it's like i don't even have to do any work! I have people who want to play fridays, i'm setting up an open blues jam from 11-2am on fridays, and saturdays are always up for grabs. Sunday nights, i rent a movie and talk to twenty people on the street, put up a hundred fliers and bam! instant party, free movie, free popcorn, cheap beer. last night we watched jaws and poltergiest. Next week it's pulp-fiction and the big lebowski. Bring people to a blues jam. in chicago. Why didn't i think of this sooner?
