I had no idea, but it seems that mine and
Aimee Friedman's graphic novel
BREAKING UP is in stores this week... I only found out when I got an email request yesterday for sales of the original art! Then
Jamie S. Rich forwarded me a really nice
write-up from The Trades (where the guy suggests we ought to get an Eisner!!) and then I got another
cool review from Broken Frontier. I'm digging that guy's use of bold fonts.
I'm REALLY proud of this fabulous 192-pager. I would send you all books, except I've only got four copies and have all ready given away two (one to my amazing friend/babysitter/assistant and the other to my fab friends who let me use their Soho brownstone for part of the story's setting and as a place to crash w/ a cappuccino and bad deadlines). If you pick it up this week, you'll see that it's also very holiday-oriented and would make a delicious gift to anyone who likes a good teen Manhattan-esque drama/comedy for a mere $9.99!
If you hear of any other good mentions, please post me back, ok? Thanks!
