Holy Crap
Holy crap indeed. Sans mt the hammer has lost much of its charm.
However, I did make a spectacular find this eve. So I was just frustratedly searching for cheap car rentals for thanksgiving stupid weekend on which I have to go to Port Elgin but just for the day because the reverend mother is coming here the next day and getting rather pissed about the fact that EVERY FRIGGING COMPANY FORCES YOU TO RENT FOR THE WHOLE LONG WEEKEND BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND MONDAY AND REALLY I ONLY NEED A CAR ON SUNDAY. What are they, like, 'oh, you need a car on Sunday? Hmmm. Too bad. We're not open on weekends. But we can charge you for four days instead of one if you like. You would? FABULOUS." And I'm all like, why don't you take a gander up your own butt and around the corner cause I'm about to stick a car there....
Anyway, so Hertz. Lovely Hertz. You can rent a car there just for the day on the weekend. I'm getting on on Sunday, bringing it back on Monday, and I'm only paying thirty bucks. Sounds suspiciously too good to be true. Sigh. But I have it in writing...well I have a confirmation email so they can't screw me now, suckas! None of this makes me much happier that a certain someone has moved away to mashed potatoes and rain coats land, but its a start.
I get really excited about these things. (i really do).
