off to chicago
Wow, are we already part way through July??
So, I guess that means I turned 21 on July 7. Wahoo! (I was being sarcastic). I did, actually, have a very nice birthday. My friends, Dad + g.f., Mom + b.f., and I all went out to dinner at the Free State Brewery. We all drank beers and avoided most awkwardness. Parents, aside from talking about sex, have been very good at avoiding awkwardness. Anyway, I felt very loved on my birthday, probably the best birthday in 5 years or so... And then I did the typical 21 year old thing and went out to bars, getting free drinks. There are about 10 bars in a 4 block span. My favorite drink has to be from above Henry's -- "chocolate cake" --vodka and frangelica with a lemon that's been doused in liquor and set on fire.
Sorry if I'm none to coherent. I've got this nasty ear infection that was so bad I couldn't chew for two days. It's getting better but I'd still be o.k. if my nose and ear decided to secede from the union (body union).
Today I leave for Chicago, to visit Sarah Clark. Random visit.
Jesse's back in town! Yesterday we sat around writing letters to the editor. God the newspaper sucks.
