Well that sucks - my LJ specific email address and password have been leaked. I only know because I received a sextortion email to the address with the password in clear text. Password now changed.

LiveJournal bought out, again. Of course, they are making soothing noises to reassure Paid and Permanent Account holders that nothing bad is going to happen. Apparently since SUP took over the Russian wing last year the number of Russian users has doubled.

As reported in permmembers brad is leaving LJ 9 years after starting it. He says the code base is in good hands.

Is this thing back on yet?

If anyone knows how to change the LJ's RSS icon back to the satellite from the orange icon, I'm all ears. Orange really does not suit my blue theme ( Read more... )

Ever since joining LiveJournal last month, I have being playing with LJ Connect. After a while of picking random journals I found a few that were 6 hops away from me. Even after a recent frenzy of bellanna making new friends, 6 hops seemed to be the limit.

I tried the Lynx look when the new look became active, but without the menu bar I found it too hard to navigate, so I'm back to the new look.
