Good bye SpotLife

"After 4 great years, SpotLife says good bye! We would like to thank all our members for their support"

A brief FAQ says:
"Where can I webcam?
World of Webcams is one of the oldest and largest Web Cam communities on the Internet. The free, easy-to-use software at http://ww.com lets you set up your own personal Web Cam in minutes.

Where can I create web Albums Now?
Yahoo! Photos is a great place for sharing pictures. Best of all, it's FREE. They provide 30mb of storage for free members. To learn more, go to: http://photos.yahoo.com.

Can SpotLife send me my content?
Unfortunately, SpotLife will not have access to your content to send to you.

What happens to my content that was published on SpotLife?
All content was deleted."

When I had my SpotLife account two of my friends independently suggested I bought the domain name spodlife, so I did! I then knocked up a cheap look-a-like logo and nicked another graphic or two, and a website was born.

Last year I noticed they had switched to a more business style service offering cheaper teleconferencing, but still also running the consumer / adult webcam service. Searching Google, the most recent piece of news I can find is:
20020513 - Logitech acquires SpotLife.

Funny, because according to http://siliconvalley.internet.com/news/article.php/3531_713241 SpotLife was a spin-off from Logitech in the first place.
