At The Anchor, again - gerald_duck twisted my arm

gerald_duck wasn't so much twisting my arm as buying the drinks to help us celebrate his first perfect square birthday in 11 years. For reference, Susan is numberland, and my brother's girlfriend was also present, making eleven in total. I believe the esoteric dessert wine was Hungarian Tokaj, chosen by my brother's girlfriend who, despite being notionally Swedish is actually ancestrally Hungarian.

So far as I'm concerned, it was a great evening. It's a shame needing to feed the dog meant you missed the stroll down to the flooded washes, and the eclipse-watching, but I trust the meal itself was more than good enough. (-8
