There is a linksys (best in apartment signal appears to be 16/100 on the netstumbler scale) within range of my apartment. I didn't think that there was, but I thought wrong. I had only tested it from the front porch, not actually inside my apartment.
I had already made the choice to move on in before internet was set up, but it looks like I will have a tenuous link to it even while my own gets set up. Hooray.
I've purchased a desk at a yard sale, but the issue of seating has been presnted. I built a stool out of some of the boxes. It's sturdy enough to last a few weeks, i'd wager and perhaps longer. But there's no back support.
