When you watch the TOS films, does anyone else besides me kind of sense a difference in the way McCoy banters with Spock before Spock's death and subsequently afterwards, when Spock is brought back to life? We have episode recs, how about some movie discussion? I post this because I just watched The Voyage Home and there is so much McCoy flirting with Spock that I can't take it. Ok, here's a question for y'all.  What's the extent and limitations of the telepathic/empathic ability in Vulcans?  My own impression/guesses are:  a) a mind meld is incredibly intimate, more so than sex, and it can be very dangerous if not done in a controlled, careful way, depending on the meld-ee.  b) A Vulcan can transmit or recieve the mental ( Read more... )
