If this has already been addressed, I do apologize. I've been going back over old posts, but may have missed this. I am not an expert on Trek, so I defer to my more knowledgeable friends here. =]
Are there any rules in Starfleet that would not allow a romance between officers serving on the same ship? I'm guessing the answer is no because of the fact that Kirk's own parents were on the USS Kelvin together. Or are civilians allowed to live on starships?
Do you think there will be a continuation and exploration of the Spock/Uhura relationship in the next film or will the writers avoid it, simply allowing for the implication of it.
How likely is a Spock/Uhura marriage aboard the Enterprise? Is that just wishful thinking or do you think the writers would ever go there?
Unrelated question: Do you think Winona Ryder was aged in the film to play Spock's mother because they plan to use her in the next film as a flashback or possibly dreams for Spock?
Thank you all for your replies. I love this community!!!
