New Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer

I'm not posting the new trailer here, just becasue I don't want to goof it up somehow, but can we PLEASE talk about the new trailer???!!

OHMIGOSH. I've pretty much watched it at least 30 times and hypervenihilate at some very great scenes. My heart can't wait till May!

I cannot wait that long. I am going crazy. It can't be healthy to be emotionally invested in a fictional relationship but OMG Spock and Uhura are just too damned attractive and compelling.

I fell the SAME way! I have so many reasons why I love this couple so much! I really think they will stick together. Like someone had said, Spock and Uhura are like the "married" couple of the crew. And with the JJ snippet on their relationship and how it will be tested, I really feel like they will for sure make it. I think Spock is going through a really dark and self-destructive time and he'll come back from the brink and Uhura will be there. If they break up, it's like saying "hey, love can't last!" and I feel like JJ is not that type of guy.

I think that it helps that JJ is a bit in love with Zoe and Uhura. Spock is his favourite character so he wants Spock to have the girl that he himself is in love with. And anyway, it doesn't hurt for Spock to have a girlfriend does it? I mean Kirk can do all the playing around to satisfy the bloke-ish need to sleep around the galaxy while Spock can have the steady relationship to satisfy the chick-ish need for meaningful romance.

Ok, I am glad you said something about JJ being a lil in love with Zoe and Uhura. I thought I was the only one! lol. In some of the interviews from back in 2009, I thought it was kinda obvious, haha. I can't remember a particular thing right now though, b/c the new trailer has fried my brain!

And, Agreed. I feel like they are the constant for the chaos. They are a good role model for having a strong relationship that is built on partnership. Also, I love that Uhura doesn't wait for Spock to make the moves. She's not a shrinking flower, which is what I LOVE about her.

They are just so great.
