When he was fifteen, Sam confessed his romantic feelings to his brother. Rejected and unable to face his brother again, Sam runs away. In an effort to stay off his father's radar, he turns to a life of crime to get by. As it turns out, he's pretty good at it.
Summary: From Detroit, to Chicago, to San Diego and beyond, the Winchesters are in a race for their lives. With tensions running high, especially between Sam and his father, can they manage to get along long enough to stay alive?

Just as an FYI, the pdf mentioned above by chellexxx only has the first story, Learning to Breathe, and a timestamp, Jackalope. So not all 3 stories. The sequel I listed above is a true sequel (nicely long).
(No real spoilers here:) I hadn’t even known the sequel existed myself, so it was a very nice surprise - I had gone looking to see if there were any other time stamps beyond the Jackalope one (FYI, none that I could find) and stumbled upon it. It nicely expands on Sam’s feelings and observations of the dynamics in his family, and he finally has the conversation with John you kind of wished he had in the first story (which is primarily about Sam & Dean). The Jackalope story could come either before or after the sequel, though after having just reread them all, I think it maybe best works after the sequel (Out of Breath), since Sam & John seems to on better terms.
