destiel kid fic
I'm looking for a well-beloved fic that I really should remember the name of. >_< It ends up destiel and is on AO3. It starts out with a case. Cas is doing a solo interview of a woman who, it turns out, is abusing/neglecting her physically handicapped toddler son. Cas is still an angel (I don't know to what extent), so he can see the child's soul and decides to take him and bring him back to Dean. Dean is kinda iffy -- you know, 'hunter' and 'father' don't quite mix -- but Cas persuades him to take the boy in by saying that the child's soul is so much like Dean's. Not to mention this is the CUTEST KID EVER, even if it is only a fic. I want to say that the boys name is Johnny? but I don't really remember. Long, chaptered fic that every destiel fan should read.
