Hi! I remembered very little of that fic.
I was looking for a fic that happened during Stanford time. During the summer Sam was working because he didn't have where to go.He was miserable, he was living in an awful apartment or room. Dean went to check on him without him knowing.Dean took a picture of miserable Sam and showed it to John who went to take Sam home.
