Recs: Sam/Dean wingfics, two Jared/Jensen fics
Hello, I'm back as a guest reccer, which I'm very excited about! I'll be popping up every now and again with hopefully some fun themes to rec on, or maybe some random recs.
Today, as I'm feeling a bit silly, I'm reccing wingfics, partly because I have always, since I heard of it, been SO amused that fangirls love putting wings on characters so much that there is a recognised subgenre of fanfic called wingfic, and also because, hee, there are some REALLY AWESOME ones in SPN fandom!
All of these are also Wincest wingfic to some extent, which I have seen referred to as Wingcest. I really love fandom. :D
Crystal Blue Persuasion by wrenscribbles - adult, Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; a short but awesome fic where Dean is cursed by a siren to get the wings and the rather persuasive voice. Hot and funny.
I Put a Spell on You (Because You're Mine) by estrella30 - crack!fic, also featuring MPREG, NC-17, Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; hee, hilarious! Dean keeps waking up with all sorts of different problems, and is also generally horny. Cute, hot, so funny.
Three Point Landing by eighth_horizon - light R, subtle Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; Sam and Dean deal with an elemental, who gives Dean a parting shot. Awesome, fun, interesting fic, with great dialogue and YUMMY wingcestuous tension ;) with wing stroking and nnngh.
-and the sequel to Three Point Landing, Four Wall Rule - PG-13, again mild Sam/Dean, again winged!Dean; more incredibly hot teasing wingcest tension and wing-touching, and hilarious drunken dialogue, and I LOVE this.
Equally Cursed and Blessed by nymeria - NC-17, Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; mmm, lovely fic, with grumpy!Dean and back massages and cute banter and oh, hot hot sex.
And we are here as on a darkling plain by lyra_wing - R, Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; a golden oldie, the one where Dean's angelic and Sam's demonic, and amongst various side effects, Dean gets pretty angelic wings. Hee. And can't swear.
-and set in the same universe, The weight of Dumah, for us to bear - R, Sam/Dean, winged!Sam; this time it's Sam, with black, huge, ev0l, really hot wings. Some disturbingly hot sex, GAH.
Aerial by astolat -adult, Sam/Dean, winged!Dean; holy shit, so so hot, GAH. *flails*! Also illustrated with AMAZING art by joosetta @ antiship.
Landslide by setissma - R, Sam/Dean, winged!Sam; AWESOME long, detailed, first-time, schmoopy HOT fic, with a cabin and h/c and PREENING, HELLO. Gah.
I conclude that fandom is insane and amazing and also, that there should be more winged!Sam.
And two bonus random unrelated J2 recs, for the hell of it!
And It's a Whole New Ball Game by kestrelsan - adult; baseball AU! Hee! Read this even if you don't know anything or care at all about baseball, because I didn't (I'm painfully English when it comes to American sports!) and this had me still squeeing like a fool. Gorgeous, gorgeous long story, with beautiful characters, relationship development, resolution, YAY.
From Here We Go Sublime by stellabelle - adult; set in the hiatus before s4, this is a breathtaking long fic, wistful and full and real and perfect. Jensen turns thirty, and there is bungee jumping and kisses on the sidewalk. I cannot do this fic justice through describing, so go READ it. :D
