Isn't that pretty much what happened anyway in canon? ;) As soon as Cas basically "orphaned" himself by rebelling? hehe

Oh this is thrilling and beautiful :) It makes me so happy to read it! :) Not my prompt, but it was a great one, and this is a perfect, beautiful fill :)

Little Cas was soooo precious and adorable, clinging to Dean the way he did, and Dean ending up so protective, even though he felt awkward about it at first (all those child-care skills he learned early in life came in handy, huh?)

And the ending was perfect and romantic in a way that was still IC :) Love it!
