I think a more detailed example would be helpful. There can be a lot of variation in format and it might be better to be clear now than to have to fix it later. For example, in this Veronica Mars transcript, it uses a quasi-script format where it notes int/ext and location (though doesn't include the end-scene 'cut to:') in italics as well as physical description set apart from the actual dialogue. The dialogue itself isn't separated so it looks like:

Person A: x
Person B: x

Whereas in this Dark Angel transcript it lists all the physical action in italics and within parentheses, with the location and date at the very top. The dialogue does have spaces in between, like this:

Person A: x

Person B: x

It might be helpful if you guys noted how exactly we should treat dialogue (as it'd be easier for the coders) and also how to deal with things like flashbacks and visions and stuff. The VM transcript does flashbacks as separate scenes (int - school - flashback) whereas DA just notes that it is a flashback as if it were any other piece of action.

To that end, you might consider posting an example of an entire scene. Doesn't have to be real, just how we should treat action, visions, music cues, how we should open and close the scene and move to the next, that sorta stuff.

I also don't get the featured music thing in the headers. Should we list all the songs played in the show? And then we'd also note them in the body of the transcript?
