It's been a great couple of months for hurt!Sam fans. spn_littlebro hosted a Hurt!Sam Free for All after the hurt extravaganza of Red Meat. There was an awesome response. Lots of chat and some great works were created and linked. Be sure to check out the summary of links HERE.

We're using a slightly different format this month. The story/art link will take you to the rec made my our fabulous team in spn_littlebro's themed archive. This will give you further details regarding the rec - including the type of hurt, pairings, warnings and a link to the work.

madebyme_x says: The post-apocalyptic world is perfectly painted; dark, creepy but fascinating, and the whole fic is a thing of beauty. It's told from Sam's POV, there's Sam on a motorbike, and there's plenty of twists and turns to the story. I was gripped!

madebyme_x says: A fascinating fic which sees Sam's soul, fresh from hell, being separated from his body, only then to be reunited. Painfully gritty, but beautifully written.

ayane42 says: This is a really dark story where Jensen and Jeff are not nice people. I read this story, wincing at the way Jared was abused. Very dark. Haunting. I was thinking about this story for days after. The author did a great job painting a really dark and comfortless story.

ash48 This vid beautifully captures Red Meat (11.17). It's heartfelt (be prepared to cry!) and wonderfully paced. The song fits perfectly for this episode.
