Summary: It's only when he hears Sam's sharp intake of breath that Dean realizes what he has been doing.
Sam's shoulder is still wet where he licked it clean after treating it; Dean can still taste it on his tongue, and fuck he wants more.
His jaw twitches as he tries to keep his craving at bay: this is Sam, and if he starts he might not be able to stop before he bleeds him dry.
Sam's trembling slightly, but his hand is firm when he offers Dean the knife.
Ruby's knife.
“It's ok, Dean” he murmurs softly “you can have it.”
If Sam's eyes turn black as Dean cuts his forearm, he pretends not to notice.
