The 10th Spn_BigPretzel Spring Fic Exchange : Update
Following a chat with a fellow spn_bigpretzel stalwart this afternoon, I've been doing some reflecting and I want to communicate some additional information about the 10th spn_bigpretzel Spring Fic Exchange.
10 years is a huge milestone in any online challenge, and as our flagship challenge, our Spring Fic Exchange has ridden those years well and produced some magnificent artwork and fic in the process. I hope, like me, you are supremely proud of it.
It seems then, that 10 years is an appropriate swan song for something so precious, and therefore, it is my sad duty to announce that the 10th Spring Fic Exchange will be our last. It's been a very hard decision to make, but show has moved on and it's time for the community to move on as well!
I didn't mention that in the original introductory post because I didn't want to guilt-trip anyone into joining the challenge, but upon reflection and after speaking to my dear friend, I think I owe you all the opportunity to make an informed decision about taking part under the circumstances.
So don't forget, the prompting post HERE will be open until midnight on Sunday 14th March.
I hope you are able to join us as we see our wonderful fic exchange off into the sunset. I couldn't think of a group of people I would rather share that final journey with!
