“It’s just you and me, Baby. Cas has gone to the Amazon to count bees, Sam’s gone to the library. I’ve got my favorite shorts on. and a bucket of soapy water for my best girl. Now for some music!”
Dean turned on the radio and started to sing along, loudly.
“Nuh nuh nuh nuh, nuh nuh nuh-nuh nuh…
We're leaving together, but still it's farewell…
It’s the final countdown…”
The sound of clapping halted him mid-chorus and he turned to see Sam grinning.
“Great mullet rock there, Dean.” Sam teased.
“Bite me,” Dean replied, “what’re you doing back?”
“Just wondered if you want me to pick up pizzas or Chinese takeout on the way back,” Sam explained, adding, “or some Spandex trousers and a wig.”
Dean threw the wet sponge at Sam. “Pizza, usual toppings.”
Sam left, humming The Final Countdown all the way to town. Seemed kinda apt.
