It's that time again ... announcing our Hallowe'en Team Drabble Challenge
It's spn_bigpretzel's favourite time of the year again, and we couldn't possibly let a Hallowe'en pass without marking it in some special way, and so it gives me enormously spooky pleasure to announce the
spn_bigpretzel Grand Hallowe'en Team Drabble Challenge!
The challenge will run for one week from 00:00 am Friday 25th October wherever you are in the world to 23.59 on Thursday 31st October wherever you are in the world.
There will be two teams - as follows:
TEAM TRICK
Think bad luck, pranks gone wrong, horrible surprises, skeevy hotels, accidents and pratfalls, think stinky, fugly and generally unpleasant
TEAM TREAT
Think good luck, fun and larks, nice surprises and treats, yummy pumpkin pie, pretty waitresses, friendly spooks and successful hunts
It would be great if drabbles could have a Hallowe'en twist to them, but as the boys' life in general is pretty much Hallowe'en every day, that's not essential. All we ask is that drabbles are kept within the spirit of the community, that is to say; funny, cracky, sweet, fluffy and generally light-hearted. Although we're calling it a drabble challenge, we'll also welcome any artworks that fit the brief of your team.
So ... step right up, and register your interest in taking part as a comment to this post. Please nominate whether you want to play for Team Trick, Team Treat and/or if you're flexible (we need to have a fairly even number of participants in each team, so may have to switch a few people if we end up with a big imbalance).
You have until the end of Sunday 20th October to sign up - don't be shy; the more the merrier!
