Summary: Daggers aside, the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Munching on his toast, Sam nodded a good morning as his brother wandered in. Dean took a sip from his mug and winced before looking around the kitchen.
"What's that?" he asked, his eyes widening in disbelief at the freshly baked pie cooling on a wire rack on the counter. His nose twitched. "Apple and cinnamon," he breathed, near swooning.
"That," said Sam "would be your new best friend."
"Arthur?"
Sam grinned. "Yep, who was up baking at dawn and wearing, if I may say, a rather fetching apron." He chuckled at his own words and gave Dean a friendly shove. "Why, does it make you wanna go fetch the Ketch?"
"In your dreams," grunted Dean, helping himself to a slice of the pie.
"Not mine, his," Sam snorted. "Ketch the letch!" he added with a mocking laugh, long immune to Dean's attempts at a threatening stare.
"Maybe it's some weird English courtship ritual," he mused as Dean started on a second slice. "You wanna watch out, next he'll be waking you up each morning with a freshly brewed cup of tea."
Dean blushed and forced a nervous laugh while discretely emptying the contents of his mug down the drain.
