My plan for the next however long it ends up being...
I have made a decision. I have decided to accept that I have absolutely no idea where I want to be five years from now, let alone longer than that. I have decided to leave it up to fate.
I am going to take a TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) course and head over to China. I'll stay there for as long as I'm interested and see if it leads me into anything else, otherwise I'll move onto South America or Taiwan. Talked to the folks about it last night, and they seem supportive enough of the idea. They just want me to gather a bit more info on working conditions and pay and stuff before I sign up. I plan to do that if it's quiet at work tonight.
The course will only take me a couple of months to do, I am declaring that the remainder of my time in Australia be known as SploogalFest. If anybody has anything interesting or different that they have been wanting to do but never gotten around to doing, now is your chance! Let me know if you want to do something - I'll take anything from girly shopping trips to canoing along a river in the middle of nowhere!
