Visas, girls, metro, and nossa senhora da puta mae

I got an email from Rapha today saying that she couldn't come to Sao Paulo (y'know, that whole work thing) but that I should come back to Juiz de Fora for Pride. Then I went to the Federal Police station (couldn't do it yesterday because they moved office and I didn't find it until closing time) and waited in three lines to be told that my tourist visa is fixed and I have to apply to my local consulate (aka San Francisco, CA) to get an extension. So I get to stay here illegally for a few days and hope I don't get caught at immigration. The irony is almost consolation. Then I bought chocolate ice cream because chocolate and ice cream make life less frustrating. What makes life more frustrating is realizing that you then don't have change for the metro.

Amusingly, I still like Sao Paulo.

EDIT: Then my phone wouldn't work so I walked for 45 minutes and found a cellphone store and a vegan cafe that was decorated with graffiti. Cool cafes beat out fucked cellphones.
