[ And here we go with yet another loud broadcast. It's been a good week or so since we've heard this annoying voice over the feed, but you can't get rid of him so easily.  America is seen reporting from his bed again, the seal propped up on an object of some sort. He's just really in a tank top and jeans-- lounging clothes. ]

The Fourth of July, man!
Surely you cool Halo guys celebrate it, right? I mean, if you don't, then maybe all of you aren't as awesome as you seem!

Maybe I ought to explain to you that the 4th of July is also my birthday! And it's important to me! [ yes america we know. ]

And, I don't mean my birthday is on the same date... well, I mean, I guess it is, kind of. I mean, I was already in existence, but us nations celebrate our birthday on important dates. Uhhh. Like my colony days were kind of over so, uhh--

[ A pause. He slows down a bit. ]

I mean, I'm kind of the reason people celebrate it! Does that make sense?

Look, I don't think you realize you're sort of talking to somebody who would know his own Declaration of Independence!
July 4th, 1776. And the year is 2011! Do the math!

I already mentioned I was already existing.. technically before then! But I guess I was sort of reborn in a way after that!

Of course! I have a whole history and memories to prove it.
I mean, why would I question my own age? I'm not that old yet, hahha! In fact, I'm really young. But still old enough to take care of myself and shit.

Maybe England or France get confused about their age since they're oldies, but not me!

Right, WELL. It's obvious I'm from another world than you are! And in my world we have country representatives and we're kind of sort of really important! Think of it like-- I guess-- I'm more of like the spirit of the country.
