[Sawako is off exploring around Splendor as she finished early doing the daily chores. However, along the way, she comes across what appears to be a young puppy as it reminds her a lot of Maru-chan. Although she knows that children and animals don't like her very much, because of her appearance, she still likes them very much and decides to carefully approach the puppy anyway. Perhaps it got lost along the way and is looking for its owner after all.]
(So cute~ Who would leave such a cute puppy alone like this?)

[Chibi holds out his key in explanation, and his name flashes across his seal just once--he's figured out that generally, wishing that people knew his name was a good way for them to learn. But anyway! Yeah, he lives here!]
[Who is this? She almost seems nervous. Why should she be nervous? Chibi isn't going to hurt her. She doesn't have any reason to be apprehensive. He trots forward toward her and sits calmly, tail wagging slightly as he looks up at her. Have a friendly bark, miss!]
[... Had she said something before that, though? Chibi couldn't quite tell.]
[As soon as she began to speak towards the young dog, Sawako was expecting for a rather angry bark or even perhaps a growl indicating to her that he would be another dog who did not appreciate her company. However, she simply look at him as his name flashed right before her. Surprised and almost bewildered, Sawako almost wondered where he had learned to do that. It seemed that he too was a resident here from another world.]
Chibi... Chibi-chan...?
[She smiled reassuringly towards him as she almost hoped that he would be okay by that alteration of name. Seeing him sit there as he began to wag his tail, she couldn't help but to approach him even closer. He was simply too cute that she couldn't help herself. Even his friendly bark to her was a first. No animal had been this kind to her right from the beginning. She was most definitely happy.]
It's nice to meet too, Chibi-chan. A-ah. I'm Sawako Kuronuma.
[He jerks right to attention when she calls him that.]
[Did she just... did she just...? She might be from Nippon! ... Except she doesn't look like anyone from his world. Maybe there's another world where they use the same honorifics?]
[All the same, he lets out a happy little shiver. It's nice, in a way, it sounds familiar! And he guesses it does fit him, after all.]
[He pads closer, close enough to sniff up at her now, but she still seems nervous so he's gonna let her make the first move if she wants to. But he's okay with just sitting here.]
[She doesn't seem like a bad person... He doesn't understand why she seems to think he wouldn't like her. Maybe most animals don't like her? Well, Chibi's a little smarter than most animals, he's not going to hate you right away. Well, not usually.]
[As he approached close enough for him to sniff her, she couldn't help but to flinch, just slightly of course. This was a rather new experience for her, so please don't mind that she's hesitant right now. She's actually very happy and excited that he is responding so well to her. She's always loved dogs and it was until now that another dog felt the same way towards her.]
Chibi-chan...
[She slowly reaches her hand out at him, hoping that he isn't afraid of her just yet as she pats him on the head. Success!]
You're such a cute, puppy.
[She remarks excitedly as she moves from patting his head to stroking his back. Dogs usually like to be rubbed on their stomach too don't they? Well, she's already having a lot of fun with him. She almost wishes that she could keep him, but sure enough he belonged to someone else.]
[Oh, that feels so good, she's really nice, she's so gentle, she has nothing to be afraid of and--]
[--!]
[--oh man oh man oh man she's so nice he just wants to be close oh man--]
[Look out, because his gentle patience has given way to forceful impatience and he's trying to press up against the girl as much as he can, because, oh, Amaterasu, she's so nice and sweet and he just wants to be with her forever...]
[She noticed the small dog being even more affectionate to her as he pressed up against her and was no longer as a small distance. She continued to pet him and even attempted at tickling his stomach since she had seen before that they really love it when you pet them in that general area. Was she doing this right? Or was she perhaps hurting him in any way? After all, she didn't wish to lose his trust when she already has gotten this close and affectionate with him.]
Do you have a home here?
[Silly to try having a conversation with him, but who knows, perhaps he could give her a sign of sorts that he actually does understand.]
[There's a soft thump as he just sort of falls over onto his side, tail slapping happily against the ground and still wriggling, trying to press as close to her as he can.]
[Was she... was she... speaking to him? Oh.]
[He gathers himself enough to trace an outline of his mushroom house in the air, and pull forth his key from the abyss it stayed in when he didn't need it.]
[Yeah, he lives here. But right now he'd much rather live with you... Especially if you keep rubbing his belly like that...]
[Sawako noticed the outline of the mushroom house that the young dog lived as she was quite amused that he even understood her in the first place. So he did have a place after all. She almost wished to ask Kazehaya if they could take him in as their own, but sure enough maybe he already had someone else. Even if it may have not been able to work out, perhaps she can still visit him time after time.]
I'll take you home. How does that sound?
[She said rather reassuringly now that she was closer to him as she continued to rub that warm stomach of his.]
[After a few minutes of playing, she finally picked herself up and gently picked up Chibi-chan along as well. She made sure that he was firmly, yet comfortably in her arms as well.]
