[Makoto makes time to go through the park at least once a day. She likes the quiet feel it has and it allows her to think and plan through things. It's not unusual to come across others who are in her situation, taken from the home by the city, while walking through so she's not too surprised to see the hyperactive girl who arrived recently.
[Minori is just minding her business, her head still buried in her knees, not minding the people who were walking past her. However, when she hears a familiar voice talking to her, she decides to look up, tears still falling down her face.]
Oh, it's you... Makoto, right? [She wipes her tears away on her sleeve, and then smiles at the other, albeit forced and weak.]
I'm fine. [No, you're not.] Nothing's wrong. [Except everything. She wraps her arms tighter around her knees, and buries her head in her knees once again. She's a little ashamed of having someone who saw her hyperactive side see her like this.]
[She sits down and wishes for a handkerchief to give the girl.]
You miss your home, don't you?
[Makoto remembers her first few days. After the thrill of being in a strange new world wore off, and the realization that she was trapped here sunk in, she too had spent quite a few nights crying herself to sleep. Even now there were times she would stay up, staring at her ceiling, wondering what was happening back home.
What was her mother doing? Her sister and father? Were Chiaki and Kosuke playing catch without her? Would she ever get to see any of them again?]
Is it? [she laughs bitterly. She takes the handkerchief after a moment, saying a little 'thank you'.]
More like the people from home. [Minori didn't care where she was placed, as long as she had her friends, and her brother with her. Her parents were always away from home working, and she thinks about her younger brother who is probably left alone in the house right now. She wonders how he's doing without her and she hopes that he isn't just eating cup noodles.]
It's... terrifying. I feel like I never know what lies ahead. If I'll be back home tomorrow, or if I'll stay here forever... [She realizes that she may have given too much of what she felt, and she lets out a loud, forced laugh.] It's just, you know... a little unnerving.
It's alright to be afraid in this place... I think mostly everyone shares the same fear. I know I do. Although, there's always the chance that someone from your home could end up here too. [Something she often hopes for herself.]
Is there, really? [Minori sounds a little skeptical.] I've been waiting and waiting, but no one has ever showed up. I've tried wishing for them to come, but it never grants my wishes. [She looks sadder because of this fact. She also knows that by wishing for them to come, she's being a little selfish, but who can blame her?]
I don't think we can wish for others to come here. [Makoto has tried that so many times to no avail and still does occasionally so you won't be getting any blame from her.] It's probably all chance, but a lot of others here have friends and such from their homes, so it's not totally impossible.
She doesn't seem so energetic today though.]
Ahh... hey, is something wrong?

It's a bit scary being here, isn't it?
