A. [Someone's feeling a little down today.
For the last couple of days, Minori has been energetically exploring the city, hanging out in the Golden City Hall just in case her friends arrived, meeting new people, wishing for lots of food, more exploring, more hanging out in the Golden City Hall, and just generally getting herself used to the city.
It didn't take awhile for homesickness to finally catch up with Minori though. Even if she's met some nice people, she still feels a little lonely. Even if she likes the place she's staying at, it's just... not home. She misses her brother, her friends, even her parents. And she hasn't played softball for days, her only way of escaping from her own feelings.
Now she's in the park, seating on one of the benches. She wished for something to remind her of her friends, and when she did, a picture appeared on her lap. It's a silly picture, but it was one where they were having lots of fun, and most of all, when they were all still together. That set off the water-works. She is reminded of the hurt she felt when two of her friends run off together and leave her, and now she is away from all of her friends. She feels so alone, and she misses them terribly and wants to be with all of them again, but that's one thing this place can't grant. Yes, the super energetic, hyperactive, OMG IT'S THE ALIENS!!!- girl is crying. She is huddled up in the bench, her head buried in her knees, and her arms are wrapped around her knees holding the picture limply in her hands. Try to talk to her? Cheer her up? Poke fun at her?]
B. [Minori is done with letting her emotional side come out and is now walking back to her apartment. She's still a little down, but she feels a little better than she was earlier, having cried out most of the hurt. She's tossing a ball in the air as she takes out her seal.]
I was wondering... what if you had dreams or aspirations before you arrived in this City? Things and goals that you wanted to achieve but can only reach in your respective world? [Like, in her case, being able to get into a sports university and then join the national women's softball league after that.] What would you do? Would you try to achieve them here, or...?
