[ when the music stops, raido finds that he is sprawled on the floor in an undignified heap; not befitting his position as a devil summoner. he scowls a little as he picks himself up from the ground with a slight grunt, methodically checking for any injuries as he straightens up. no bones broken -- that is good. if anything, he didn't land badly. after a minute or two to get his bearings (for his head to stop swimming), raido reaches down for his hat that's rolled off his head in the fall, dusting it carefully before putting it back on and pulling the brim down low over his brows as he looks around at the place he ended up in.
unfamiliar surroundings, he doesn't recognize this building that he's standing in the midst of. it is clear that this is not anywhere tokyo - perhaps not even of the world that is his. maybe he should be concerned, and indeed alarm is the first thing that he feels but raido manages to keep it from showing on his face. he also notices that he is alone (the familiar black cat nowhere to be found), and he can no longer sense goto's presence; the only thing that keeps him from outright panic is the reassuring weight of his katana and pistol still tucked safely in the holsters, and the presence of his summoning tubes, all seemingly intact.
that's when the golden glint of the seal catches his eye where it's fallen at his feet, and raido gingerly picks it up (after all, he'd landed himself in this mess when he found the strange music box) and examines it, frowning at the symbol carved upon the surface. ]
What kind of a trick is this ... ?
[ a sharp huff of breath, but raido decides to hold onto this little thing for a while longer; it has the symbol of the summoners on it, therefore it could be of help in near future in him returning to his own world. he is almost fully sure that whatever place this was, it wasn't of his own. suppose some evil force was at work here to jeopardize the safety of tokyo? ]
