[[Kino is in the Alpine District, a bit farther up than the casual hiker would try to go, but not far enough in to be caught in a storm.  There's a fire crackling a few feet away from where she's seated on a fallen log, and Hermes is parked off to her left.  She's still bundled up, but her goggles are off, so it's possible for the perceptive to see

[Curiosity had led Firo farther into the mountains than he ever wanted to go. He had enough layers on to be warm, but the sight of the fire was a fortunate thing. Cautiously, he approached, but threw all that to the wind when he heard Kino speak into the seal.]

Departure? You mean you found a way out?

[[Kino looks up with some surprise, not having expected anyone to be near, or to arrive while she was speaking through the seal. She has to just stare for a moment, before answering.]]

... Ah, no, I can't say I've found it yet. Are you familiar with this area?

[He loses a bit of his excitement, and then realizes how wierd it must be to have some stranger in the wilderness randomly come up to you.] Ah, sorry if I surprised you.

No, but I live in this district, so I figured I'd better get to know it at least a little. Didn't mean to come up this far, though.

[[Though his arrival was rather sudden, he doesn't seem interested in posing a threat, so Kino isn't about to reach for her holster. She just shrugs slightly instead, taking it in stride now that the surprise is over.]]

It's fine. A few more miles up, the weather is very bad, so I would not suggest going much further if you aren't equipped for it.

Think we're still running through the seasons, sort of. Seemed to get cold at the right time. 'Cept we had those really hot days just before.

I see. If the seasons go at the rate I would expect and the weather changes accordingly, maybe the storm will clear up.

Would you know anything about the Alpine District--or, in general, the mountains?

Y-You're probably better off asking one of the people who live in the Alpine District, like Ash. But my friend took me hiking up the mountains before and it's really tough to get through. There's bears, eagles and other dangerous animals living up there too.

My residence is in the Alpine District as well, but I haven't been able to learn enough yet. But maybe others who have been here longer will be able to tell me how the weather changes.

Hey, that is a good question! [ He seems super genuine about it, as if he had never thought about it. He probably hasn't. ] Man, I wonder if this place has a calendar... Maybe we could ask the locals. Even if they're a little... huh... detached.

A calendar ... though, predicting the weather would be even better. I haven't been able to talk to any of them about it, though.
