[ Akane was upset. No, more than upset; she was angry. But not at the recorded words Izaya have said. It was towards Kid for his false accusations, because the person who was speaking on the replay couldn't have been the Izaya. That person sounded like the complete opposite of the Izaya she knew.

There was a good chance that Kid could have been working with Shizuo to exploit the informant. Despite the two settling their differences, Akane still didn't trust the bartender clothed man. It had to be some kind of trick. ]

Izaya has been my roommate and I never had a problem with him during that time. But a good friend of mine is also here, and asked me about some things that Izaya had said and done to them. [ Her head spun from all the things Kid had listed. It sounded like he was being completely honest and evidence to back it up. The only reason she had to doubt him was that this was the first time they were speaking to each other. But she didn't want to believe that was Izaya's true nature. If that was how he truly is, then who was the person she had been speaking to these past months? Was everything he said just part of an act? Held back tears were threatening to spill now. Her voice shook as she spoke into the seal. ]

[ Her voice stopped before she went into a full blown hysteria. Whether she still trusted Izaya or not was left unsaid. She has never been more lost in her entire life. She wasn't sure what to believe in now. ]
