I was on my way to Ashford, and before that I was in a Rounds meeting concerning diplomatic efforts with the Euroverse.

[ "diplomatic efforts" being the key words. the Euroverse was already conquered by Schneizel, why would they need to be diplomatic if the war wasn't over. ]
