[ so that shiny new knight that Splendor obtained has been here a few hours. and he's been doing some major recon; that is, where he is, why he's there, what this key is for, who all these people are, and how he's supposed to contact his friends to let them know he's alright. total acquisition of information, based on percentage with 100% being all questions answered?
eh, maybe about 5%. but he does eventually discover the seal in his pocket, which someone he talked to mentioned briefly. when he takes it out, it goes straight to video, and everyone gets a lovely view of some big blue eyes just staring and blinking at the seal in his hand. herp derp. ]
So... this is like a phone? But how do I know who I'm contacting? Ahh...
[ he's also managed to find his housing, and is standing just outside of it, key in hand. well, regardless of who's listening, he may as well do an introduction. ]
Hello. I'm Gino Weinberg, Knight of Three and student at Ashford Academy. I'm sort of trying to figure out how to contact the school, actually. I was on my way there when this music box-
[ stops short, deciding to skip that part. don't wanna sound too crazy right off the bat. a pause, then he breaks into a smile, sheepish and good-natured. the face of someone who is not worried at all. ]
Well, anyway, if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. This is a nice place, though. I think I found where this key is supposed to unlock, does that mean I should stay here?
[ he glances back at the cottage, then turns, still holding the seal as he goes to unlock the door. it works, and the door opens, and he goes to move inside... but apparently misjudges the height of the doorway because this 6'7" guy is definitely not going to get into this cottage without bending practically in half. as soon as he walks forward he hits his face against the top of the doorway and falls back, yelping in pain. ]
