Summary: Kid introduces Luke to sports, specifically basketball
Okay, so maybe it wasn't as early as it could have been. But hey, Luke was usually a late sleeper. It was because Kid had told him to meet him that morning that Luke had actually made an effort to get up earlier. Sleeping and training, sleeping and training... ugh, this was really starting to remind him of being stuck at the manor. He needed to find a job or something soon.
But... maybe this was a good start? Kid had said it was a good way of working out that wasn't sparring. Luke wasn't quite sure what else there was, except maybe running. Sports were the kind of thing that came from a need to compete and exercise without actually fighting or anything. It was a leisure activity, not something that was developed when most people worked constantly. Except maybe by children, but since Luke had never had a normal childhood to begin with...
Luke stood outside Gilded Castle, fidgeting a little and occasionally bringing a hand to wipe at a slightly bleary eye, waiting for Kid to arrive.
