I recieved the news yesterday that I have been awarded a trust scholarship set up by an alumni for science students who display academic excellence like whoa.
I have no idea how this happened, I didn't even know it existed until yesterday; apparently, two of my teachers recommended me for it
(despite the fact that its very rarely given to rising sophomores)
I'm a bit stunned.
I don't think I've done that well academically this year
so this comes as a complete surprise.
... and a happy one.
financial aid total for the 2007-08 school year: approx. $36000, $31,000 of which is gift aid.
