Peter S. Beagle is a very nice man. His reading was excellent--I mentioned to him afterward that the story reminded me of a Neil Gaiman story, and then he told me a story about meeting Neil and realizing that they were dressed exactly the same (all black) and looked like the poster children for the Age Cycle of Fantasy Writers. Hehe. And then he signed books for me, and took a picture with me and Susana. And I shall send him my paper on Robin Hood and the outlaw in his fantasies, when I finish it.
I am so behind on grading/translating Beowulf/life things that I probably should have stayed home and done work. But an evening hanging out with the awesome Peter S. Beagle was worth it. :-)
