Chairing a graduate conference: #12 on the List of Ways to Kill Yourself Slowly (For A Good Cause). Two weeks, and I can relax. Except not, because then I have to start working with my exam committee. Also, my contact lens prescription has gotten stronger for the first time since high school, and my eyes thus correspondingly weaker. I have been told that this is a side effect of working on one's PhD. I suppose there are worse side effects to have, though I may change my mind in ten years when I am blind.
I've started using Twitter, because clearly I needed another distraction. Many people I know are doing it; I guess it was about time...
