Cold and slightly damp today. I like it. Feels like fall.
I will be giving a lecture at the Huntington Library November 14 as part of the California Medieval History Seminar. I am not a historian but a literature person; I shall be talking about King Arthur, Peter David, medieval romance, and fantasy, and will try not to get eaten alive. I've heard it can be rough. Still--the Huntington! Neat! Very busy otherwise, and kind of tired--lots of conferences to prep for.
Dollhouse--most recent episode was much stronger than the week before. Fox seems to be showing them out of order, as Ballard was still adapting to his new job in this one--why, Fox?
Supernatural--this season so far has been awesome. Thank you. Thank you, writers. My faith is slowly being restored. Plus bonus moments/lines obviously intended to make fandom explode (pink satin? huh...).
I have been wanting pumpkin pie lately, but will settle for sweet potato pie instead, since that's what we have. Still tasty and autumnal.
