I am going camping tomorrow. I don't know when we are leaving or who is going or what on earth we are doing camping on Easter weekend when it is going to be 50 degrees the whole time, but presumably we will figure something out.
My April Fools' Day was quite good considering how close I came to forgetting about it entirely. I learned that slimeing toilet seats is still funny to me even after all these years and that changing a keyboard to Dvorak can fuck people up for an entire day, among other things. I'm still looking for a really good prank for my 35 Mile Per Hour sign, because I know there is one. I can sense it, lurking out there on the horizon. COME TO ME, PRANK. COME TO ME.
There was also Dance Store hilarity involving a clown poster that has been in the store apparently forever, our manager who is mortally afraid of it and also conveniently lives in our neighborhood, and the girl who took on the mission mistaking the house and pranking one of our other (doubtlessly confused) neighbors by accident. No one wants to walk over and go "Hey, mister, can we have our clown back?", so I guess it is lost to the ages.
On an unrelated note, I can also report that overripe banana that has been frozen, then slightly over-microwaved is one of the most disgusting yet hilarious substances I've ever encountered. Especially when you have to puncture them at one end and then squeeze it out into a bowl. It is repulsive and delightful.
Now I have to go tap into the plaid flannel reserves. Plaid is the warmest clothing pattern, you know.
