I just deleted the first 1400 words of my space pirate fic. Which, *WAH*, but also *whew*, because man, was it sucking the story's will to live (and mine). Now I'm back at the scene I'd orgininally intended to be the opener, and just need to condense the deleted stuff into one paragraph of background, and then it's just piracy and pillaging all the way!


I hereby declare this an open commiseration thread for all the Space Pirate challenge slackers. Come whine with me!
