You see all that stuff in the writing folder? And that list of requests you haven't finished? You don't need a new idea to work on. Really. Yes, I know it's shiny, and nifty and coming easily right now, but you know as well as I do how this goes. It'll be your favorite until, oh, wait, look over there! What's that hot new idea? And then you'll leave it by the roadside with its pants down, heartbroken at your callous ways, as you drive off to take advantage of another poor, unsuspecting idea. For criminy's sake, get some self-control, already, you hussy.

I turned on the heat back on today. Gah. Summer! Now! But the sudden turn to cold and wet has had the excellent side effect of dampening the power of pollen over my craptacular immune system. Yay, breathing! And I have a week of prednisone to remind my lungs how this whole processing of oxygen thing works. I wonder if I can be all cranky at work this week and claim 'roid rage.
