Storming the Fort

I have been tremendously tired lately, which sucks, and which is why I fell off the earth again (at least from a LJ perspective).  I have tried to get out and do some things, though.  I went down to Zion earlier this week to check things out and got to stop by the Pontiac library branch and see my friend Lisa in her new position there, so that was cool.  Also went bowling with the Young Adult Bible Study from Holy Cross last night at Crazy Pinz, which is located near my old stomping grounds at Three Rivers Federal Credit Union (and which I remember being a large field).  I didn't exactly set 'em up and knock 'em down, but I still enjoyed myself!

The SCFC hosted the Storm the Fort Open at Zion Lutheran Academy on Saturday, which I was leading.  Despite a couple mishaps, it ended up turning out well and I was quite pleased.  I think everyone who came had a good time, hopefully we'll get even more folks out to our next event in January!  I posted some pics to
ftwaynefencers, you can check them out here.  I tied for 3rd in sabre, refereed epee, and won the foil event, so I did well personally (hence the dorky picture).  We also had an officers meeting to go over a bunch of stuff on Sunday afternoon, right before I went up north to bowl, so it was a long weekend!  Very tired today, but glad I was able to do it all and have some fun.
