I Can See Clearly Now
Hello all(two of you),
So here's the update. When I left 'Medium' I thought I didn't have enough connection to stay in the biz. I did a couple of days as an extra, one on a tv show, four on A Will Smith/ Charlize Theron movie. Lot of running and yelling in that scene but you'll see why when the movie comes out. Anyway, I happen to know a couple of the Production Crew from 'Get Smart' they wre super nice I probably could have said "I'll just check in leave then come back when they're signing people out" and they may have been cool with it. So finding out that I needed a production job they helped me get called for their project the following week 'G-Force' at Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer film. I was only suppose to be on for 4 out the 11 days 2ND Unit would be shooting but I've worked eight so far and if the UPM okay's keeping the number of PA's now until wrap, the ADs have already told me they'd like me to stay. All together now....YAY!!!!!!!!! On top of that I've made AMAZING connections, started to make moves toward making an independent film out of my script from High School (will explain later), all a chain reaction to losing a job.
After wondering what the heck is up with my world I slowly start to understand it. The apartment situation AND the job at Medium, I wasn't happy with either but would have stayed out of security. God has a different plan and silly of me to not realize that's it's a better plan.
