yeah, i'm pretty scared about the future too, especially when my mom blurted out not too comforting words to me. i was getting really frustrated with work...feeling like i really don't have a life because of it. and my mom said, "you're just not strong enough. life is only going to get harder." well...that so comforting *rolls eyes*. But i'm kinda hoping that life will get easier...that at least when i get older i'll actually have a job i enjoy instead of just collecting cash and mopping floors and pulling muscles in my back.

and yeah--OU orientaion was long, but it was kinda fun. I made a new friend there and we have our first hours together on mondays, weds, and fridays. For the first time I was actually excited to go to college.

I agree with you...we need to hold onto the things we care about, work so hard for it, not matter how hard it is to do so. only then do our lives have meaning, only then do we get what we want and have the lives we have always dreamed of!
